  1. Have edited the first post to show how we got on. You will see we will not be costing the MCC much at the engravers! This years Edinburgh was reckoned to be Tough and Rough. The saving grace was that the weather conditions were ideal, wet before but dry on the day. The wet certainly made the sections tough with Bamford Clough in particular claiming many scalps as did some of the new sections. It must have been difficult for Eric Wall to fail three sections!

    Unfortunately it was a rough trial and there were a lot of delays on some of the new sections. The concrete steps on Bamford were evil and many reckoned that Putwell is now so rough it is unusable. Class 0 weren't able to escape the rough as the last section was damaging and Richard Andrews destroyed a wheel here.
