Dellows at Wiscombe Park Hill Climb, May 8th

There were two Dellows entered for the 500 association Hill Climb, Jeremy Slatter in KTM 191 who had driven his Troll in a similar event two weeks earlier, his first speed event and myself in MTT 667, and it was my first speed event. I had walked the course the previous afternoon and was surprised by the length and the scary section where one turns right through the rhodedendrons. It was a great day and we met several Dellow owners,MCC members and other friends from school days.  Our times improved as we progressed from practice to actual  timed runs and it was great fun. Steve Wickes has offered to join us next year in his MG engined Dellow, Wiscombe being a bit smoother than Bluehills! Perhaps we can have a Dellow Bar B Cue in the paddock after the event which may be more popular than a booked meal at a pub.
